Job Title: Data Coordinator [Swartland]
Location: Malmesbury, Western Cape, South Africa

Job Summary:
The Data Coordinator is responsible to maintain and prepare Data for different Departments and Public Health Projects. To ensure that Data is accurately logged and processed.

Technical Work Responsibilities:
Liaise with Stakeholders
Compile Monthly Statistics
Create/maintain Data Files and appropriate Documentation
Ensure that all Documents are filled according to Aurum’s SOP’s
Perform all Administrative Duties for the Data Management Department which may include:
Managing Office Supplies
Handling Stationery request
Travel and Meeting arrangements
Maintenance of Office – upkeep and cleanliness
Complete daily Timesheets
General Administration

Requirements:
Education:
A High School diploma/Grade 12 (NQF Level 4)

Advantageous:
Appropriate Post Matric Qualification

Experience:
At least 2-3 years Data Capturing experience

Requirements:
This position will be based in Swartland Local Municipality.
Advanced computer and software skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, Word, EXCEL, PowerPoint, Graphics, etc.
Knowledge of Data Capturing principles, systems and procedures
Record and capture clinical data from clinical records such as files and registers to electronic database
Ability to do reconciliations on Excel and interpret graphs and diagrams
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, create graphs and diagrams
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent problem-solving skills and capabilities
Organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
Reliable with confidentiality, patience and professionalism
Minimal overnight travel (up to 10%) by land and/or air
Solid knowledge and understanding of HIV/Aids and TB
Valid Driver’s Licence
Own Vehicle (optional)
