The Ikusasa Student Financial Aid Programme (ISFAP) has now released a timeline for when students will receive ISFAP bursary offers. More oppurtunities for missing middle students as they can apply for support from the Ikusasa Student Financial Aid Programme (ISFAP) to qualify for bursaries. With 2024 ISFAP applications now complete, the organisation has now provided applicants with details about their application outcomes.
ISFAP Bursary Application Results Dates 2024
Below are dates for various exercises for Undergraduate students who applied for ISFAP bursaries.
- Household income verification – November to December 2023
- Matric results verification – January 2024
- University Registration Confirmation – January to February 2024
- Funding offers and contracting – February to March 2024

Income verification processes have been completed by ISFAP. ‘Means testing complete status’ should know that this means that ISFAP has completed checking the family income.

ISFAP Postgrad Bursaries 2023/2024
Applications for 2024 ISFAP postgrad bursaries closed on 7 January 2024. Dear Postgraduate Bursary Applicants should expect Feedback on their applications on 15 February 2024.

ISFAP was established in response to the Fees Must Fall Movement and during that time, the then Minister of Higher Education & Training put together a Ministerial Task Team whose job it was to identify operative and funding models to respond to the funding crisis and calls for free education.
