NRF connect system is active. NRF Connect, nrfconnect.nrf.ac.za serves as Grant Submissions System for submitting applications and accepting awards. There were previous systems that were used, If you have already registered on the previous systems (NRF Online and Interim), please use your existing login details to access this system.
The National Research Foundation (NRF) was established as the intermediary agency between the policies and strategies of the Government of South Africa and South Africa’s research institutions. To ensure your application gets sent, you should use the connect system.
Successful candidates will be able to view and download their award letters in January 2024, via NRF Connect against your application.

To be able to log in, please Register with the site by clicking the ORCID logo and clicking register. With your registered ORCID iD, you can access the connect system.

Alternatively, you can access this system through your institution, through your Google account or through facebook.
