A Distribution company based in Johannesburg South is looking for an Accountant who would take charge of 4 Divisions of the business. For the role, the right candidate must be technically strong on terms of Accounting. The role reports into the Financial Director of the company.
Duties and requirements:
- B Com degree in Financial Accounting and up to 10 years experience from a Manufacturing/ Distribution/ FMCG/ Retail company
- Strong technical background in Financial Accounting.
- To ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
- Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
- Establish and maintain accounting procedures.
- Financial audit preparation and coordinate the audit process.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
- Compile monthly management accounts.
- Overseeing of creditors function.
- Overseeing of cashbook function.
- Cash Flow
- Nedinform and Ned Treasury Electronic Banking.
- Fixed Assets
- Forex
- General Ledger
- Year End Requirements
- General Administration Duties
