IEB Matric Rewrites — for Learners who wish to write the exams for special reasons outlined in the article — schedule 2023/2024 is out.
The Independent South African examination, IEB is an agency that sets examinations for most private schools in the country. IEB has given Learners another chance for learners to rewrite their exams, below is the schedule
- matric rewrite for November exams will take place in May.
- Applications for the May examinations will close on 15 March 2024 and the IEB expects the examinations to take place from 8 to 26 May 2024.

These exams are for the learners who:
- were absent in the November exam period and
- wish to improve their November marks
Matric Rewrite Candidates will receive a notification if there are any changes to the dates released by the IEB.
