Nedbank provides students with the necessary financial aid that they require to pursue their studies through their offer of a student loan option. There are, however, a number of requirements to be met to be considered for this loan option.

NEDBANK STUDENT LOAN REQUIREMENTS 2023

Note, Part-time students would be expected to start repaying their loans as well as monthly interest during their studies. Full-time students would benefit from a guarantor being in charge of paying this fee during their studies, and would only be personally responsible for this repayment once they have completed their studies.

To be eligible for this loan option, which includes cover for tuition, accommodation, and learning materials, here are the Nedbank Student Loan Requirements 2023:

The guarantor (who will be in charge of paying off the debt of the full-time student whilst they complete their studies) will need the following:

  • A Nedbank transactional account as their main account
  • A valid SA identity card
  • A copy of their latest payslip
  • Three months’ bank statements if they do not bank at Nedbank

Additional Nedbank Student Loan requirements 2023 for the applicant are as follows-

  • Proof of their latest exam results
  • Proof of registration at an accredited South African university
  • An invoice for total university fees which includes tuition, textbooks, accommodation, etc.
  • A Nedbank Unlocked.Me account (which will be opened once the loan has been approved
