NSFAS Appeal Tab not working? Here is what to do

Out of 2 million applications for funding received by NSFAS, about 100,000 applications were rejected.

Some of the reasons for rejection involve the fact that their household income exceeds the limits among others.

Despite this rejection, the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has created the avenue for students to send an appeal. Appeals for Reconsideration are however for those who feel the decision made for them was a mistake.

However, complaints are everywhere that the appeal button can not be found on the student portal as expected. We therefore wish to let you know that NSFAS is aware of the issue and is working to resolve it.

Here is what to do:

Keep checking your MyNSFAS student portal as NSFAS is working to rectify the issue. We also advise that you do not take it lightly as there is only limited time for making appeals.
