A student looking to be funded by NSFAS? Here’s When NSFAS Trimester 2 Applications Will Close for 2022 TVET college students.
The National Student Financial Aids Scheme (NSFAS) recently started accepting applications for its second-trimester applications for all TVET college students nationwide. However, the deadlines have also been announced, and it is expected that applicants make all forms of applications at the right time.
NSFAS Trimester 2 Applications Closing Date
NSFAS 2022 second trimester applications for TVET colleges in South Africa is expected to close on Friday 19 August. Applicants who are yet to submit their applications can do so online or manually at their respective TVET college campuses following the procedure that has been detailed below.
How to Apply
Here are the processes involved in the application.
- Use the Walk-in online application platform (super user)
- Students capture their application at their college computer lab
- Assistive capture application platform
- TVET officials collects applications on behalf of the student.
The following supporting documents must be submitted with the application by the students:
- A copy of the student’s temporary ID, their ID document, or their birth certificate from South Africa
- copy of the birth certificate, an ID, or a temporary ID for the parent(s), guardian(s), or spouse Student, parent(s), guardian(s), or spouse (not older than three months) proof of income (if applicable).
Students benefiting from SASSA social are not required to provide proof of income.
However, a Vulnerable Child Declaration Form that has been filled out by one must be presented by students who has been designated as a vulnerable child (such as by a social worker). Following the completion and submission of the application, NSFAS will review it and inform the students of the results.
On successfully applying, you can monitor the status of your application. To reactivate your account being an NSFAS walk-in applicant, send an email to servicedesk@nsfas.org.za, it is not necessary to complete the NSFAS system access form.
