Proudly South African Internship is available in the E-commerce department. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for an internship in the eCommerce department.
The internship is a 12-month internship that will include training in the job functions of the department and it comes with a R6,000 stipend. The minimum requirements for the internship include:
- Matric
- N6 Certificate – Marketing Management
- A Certificate in IT/eCommerce/Digital Marketing will be advantageous
- Proficient in MS Office
- Adobe Photoshop/Photography course/skills will be advantageous
Internship Roles and Responsibilities
Proudly South African Internship in the E-commerce department requires these from the individual.
- Assist in Online Store Management
- Customer and Member Company Service and Support
- Liaising with Service Providers and other Stakeholders
- Data Analysis and Reporting
- Website Optimization and User Experience (UX) improvement
- Market Research and Competitor Analysis
- Cross-department Collaboration
- Support in Digital Marketing Efforts
- Support in Content Creation and Management
- Ad hoc duties and responsibilities assigned
Key Competencies
- WordPress and WooCommerce experience will be advantageous
- Ability to operate a Lightbox, Digital Camera, capture and edit product images
- Knowledge of digital marketing channels such as social media marketing emails and search engine optimization will be advantageous
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure with good time management skills to adhere to deadlines
- Ability to liaise with people at all levels, internally and externally
- Good facilitation and communication skills
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
- Good time-management skills
