The South African Council for Educators (SACE) is a professional council, that aims to enhance the status of the teaching profession through appropriate measures. These measures cover:

• Registration
• Management of Professional Development
• Instilling the Code of Ethics

In the bid to help educators grow professionally, SACE provides CPTD workshops for schools. To participate in the CPTD Cycle, educators must sign-up manually or electronically on the CPTD-IS.
