SBV currently seeks a Junior OD Consultant to deliver professional Organisational Design service offering within SBV that is best in class, adapting exponential thinking and creating impactful benefit realisation for the service offerings

Job Summary:
Provide end to end Psychometric services
• Demonstrate a clear understanding of the ethical and legislative requirements related to psychometric assessments
• Administer, score, interpret and construct reports on psychometric assessments for various purposes in accordance with HPCSA guidelines
• Conduct organization assessments and make recommendations based on the job profile and aligned to company policy and relevant legislative requirements
• Compile and submit reports to management as per the required deadlines and frequency
• Consult with management and provide advice and support regarding their assessment requirements as well as provide feedback with regards to candidate assessment results, when requested to do so
• Compile candidate feedback reports and conduct assessment feedback with the respective candidates as requested
• Communicate relevant legislative and procedural changes to management pertaining to psychological testing
• Accurately capture and maintain an electronic data base for all assessments utilized as per your respective areas of responsibility
• Maintain and update the psychometric systems currently being utilised
• All filing related to psychometrics is well maintained in alignment with audit and labour requirements
• Verify and capture all invoices relating to Psychometry within the allocated timeframe
• Assist with the Psychometric Audit and compile a comprehensive report based on the findings as and when required
• Conduct regular audits on the psychometric information in order to analyse trends throughout SBV’s centres for SBV Group
• Conduct research in other psychometric systems as well as assessments that would be of value to SBV Services and present research findings to OD Manager
• Assist the OD Manager in drafting proposals based on the research results
• Compile and submit the quarterly department newsletter
• Support the OD Consultants in the construction and implementation of the Assessment centre and simulations

Create and deliver customised in-house courses relevant to the OD requirements
• Create and deliver customised courses as per deliverables where necessary, aligned to business requirements and quality assurance standards
• Provide training, support and advice to the HR Operations Team on all matters pertaining to psychometric services
• Certify that all parties are competent regarding the implementation of psychometric initiatives
• Complete all administration elements linked to facilitating courses

Conduct job analysis and provide SME guidance with job profiling:
• Conduct job analyses in collaboration with the business partners for new positions as well as the updating
• existing positions
• Act as custodian of the Job profile template through engagement with HRBP’s on the correct application
• and provide training when required
• Provide refresher training on job profiling and analysis to the HRBP’s when required
• Update the relevant process flows to be followed and customise as per business requirements

Engage with various stakeholders to drive, implement and execute allocated psychometric projects within your designated area:
• Take full ownership of assigned projects from start to implementation.
• Partner with the relevant senior management to obtain requirements as well as key information to the project success
• Continuously review and update any amendments to assessment battery, obtain relevant approvals, communicate changes with the relevant stakeholders and implement within a reasonable time frame
• Assist HR Management with projects, including but not limited to research, feasibility studies and pilot projects
• Create and maintain accurate project plans for all psychometric project initiatives
• Create and deliver proposal when required and timeously implement all psychometric initiatives

Participate in the design and implementation of the Competency Framework:
• Collaborate with and provide input and support to the project owner in the design process of a customised competency library
• Conduct research into the relevant competencies per role and engage in competency mapping
• Provide input and support regarding the creation of customised interview guides aligned to the competency framework

Provide support to the OD Manager to implement and monitor the Talent Management system:
• Conduct market research and review assessments relevant to the job roles that could be implemented and
• utilised as part of the Talent Management Program
• Support the Organisational Design Manager in the design, implementation and facilitation of an assessment
Centre

Build and Maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships:
• Understand and document client requests in order to provide an efficient end to end service to both internal and external clients regarding psychometric processes and procedures
• Provide advice on the most suitable assessment battery to be used for a particular job grade and or position
• Communicate to client regarding possible delays within the stipulated time frame
• Professionally handle client queries and escalate where relevant within the allocated timeframe
• Liaise with the respective psychometric provider in terms of troubleshooting of any of the in house systems
• Liaise with the Transformation consultant and relevant third parties to coordinate and conduct all psychometric assessments for Employment Equity initiatives (for example: EDeaf)
• Liaise with the respective SME’s / psychometric providers to ensure the psychometrics are adapted to meet the special needs of the task at hand and are compliant with HPCSA and statutory requirements

Review reporting standards and deliver reports relevant to your area:
• Provide accurate, detailed reporting pertaining to relevant areas of responsibility on a monthly basis
• Conduct audits and trend analysis across SBV and Africa on a quarterly basis for psychometric assessments and performance management
• Compile all reporting information for submission to the OD Manager

Requirements:
Minimum Requirements: Work Experience
• Minimum 2-year corporate assessment experience (excluding psychometric internship) in broad spectrum of assessments (personality, cognitive, etc.) and feedback sessions of which:
o 6 months’ experience in assessment report writing, integrating various assessment results, conducting assessment feedback to both management and candidates and facilitating courses at various levels within the organisation.

Education:
• B Com / BA Degree: Industrial Psychology or HR
• Registered with HPCSA as Psychometrist (Independent Practise)

Special Training and Requirements:
• Understanding of the relevant legislation such as the Labour Relations Act, Basic Conditions of Employment
• Computer literate on an intermediate level or above – MS Office (Word, Excel)
• Excellent Report Writing Skills
