Key Accountabilities and Outputs
•Housekeeping of areas of responsibility
•Issuing of spares and tools to the maintenance staff
•Capturing spares issued to machines and dedicated areas on the CMMS system
•Stock counting of spares, daily, weekly and monthly as set out
•Receiving stock from suppliers, capturing of stock on system
•Escalation to Maintenance Manager of late deliveries or critical stock shortages
•Establishing close working relationships with the rest of the maintenance team
Qualifications and Experience
•Matric or N3
•Experienced storeman in spares or parts
•Computer literate with MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook
•Experience of a manufacturing environment would be an advantage
