The Namibia Qualifications Authority (NQA) is a State Owned Enterprise established through the Namibia Qualifications Authority Act no. 29 of 1996.
The NQA is statutorily mandated to evaluate qualifications and set and administer a National Qualifications Framework (NQF), amongst other objects. The NQA hereby invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the following position:

Specification
Coordinate marketing and communications programs through research, content creation, execution, monitoring and reporting to ensure effective, targeted and credible communications. Responsible for the administration of marketing communications activities, including promotions, exhibitions, events coordination and PR campaigns.

MAIN TASKS:
•Coordinate and administer marketing and communications activities, including promotions, exhibitions and PR campaigns
•Implement and evaluate media strategy in consultation with the Manager
•Monitor daily print, electronic & social media and advise on marketing and engagement opportunities.
•Write and distribute media releases/ statements/responses/speeches in consultation with the Manager.
•Coordinate the design and production of marketing materials such as flyers, banners and adverts as well as corporate reports.
•Produce NQA’s internal and external newsletters.
•Manage the NQA website, intranet and all online marketing communications and ensure that the information is compelling and up to date.
•Create and manage the NQA stakeholder database.
•Manage the NQA’s Brand Ambassador programme.
•Coordinate brand activations, stakeholder engagements, promotions including the NQA’s presence at exhibitions.
•Implement stakeholder engagement opportunities in accordance with marketing and communication programs.
•Support and coordinate the dialogue and engagement with the public to ultimately establish brand loyalty.
•Plan and execute corporate events.
•Coordinate the procurement of advertising space, promotional materials, and corporate wear in consultation with the Manager.
•Coordinate customer experience activities by responding to media questions, customer service queries and complaints, logging queries,
feedback surveys efficiently, professionally and timeously.
•Develop and maintain relationships with journalists and media outlets.
Requirements
Bachelor degree in Marketing, or Media Studies, or Public Relations, or Journalism
With at least 3 years’ experience in Marketing, or Media Studies, or Public Relations & Journalism
Graphic design experience will be an added advantage
