UNISA Registration Dates 2024 Announced!

Unisa Registration Dates 2024 Announced! prospective students can now register online for the 2024 academic year.

The University of South Africa (Unisa) has announced the registration dates for applicants who have been accepted for the 2024 academic year. Students who are yet to confirm their registration in all levels of academic programmes at the country’s largest universities are to take note.

According to the announcement, All UNISA registrations for the 2024 academic year will open on 10 January 2024 (Students registering for semester or year models inclusive).

The Online registration for 2024 that begins on 10 January 2024 is for all undergraduate, honours, postgraduate diplomas and M&D qualifications. Closing dates however depends on the module (whether it is a semester or year module). 

Do you also know that UNISA uses Open Distance e-Learning (ODeL) that enables students learn from their comfort zones? Yes, they do.

If you are not sure whether you are to apply, check online for the status of your application and registration. Proceed to log in to your Unisa account to confirm the details.

However, here are the registrations dates as announced.

Unisa Registration Dates 2024

Semester Module

Dates: 10 January 2023 – 12 February 2024.

Qualifications: Undergraduate Qualifications, Honours Degrees & Postgraduate Diplomas 

Year modules

Dates: 10 January 2023 – 22 February 2024

Qualifications: Undergraduate Qualifications, Honours Degrees & Postgraduate Diplomas 

 

However, for Masters & Doctoral Qualifications, registrations are allowed between 10 January – 29 February 2024 (exceptions apply).

UNISA Registration Requirements

For both New applicants and existing Unisa students who applied for admission to a new qualification, they must have received a placement offer from the university.

Further Notes

Re-registering students are required to register during the stipulated application period.

If you are already registered and would like to add additional modules, log in to myUnisa, choose the admin link, click on “Student Admin” and then on “Register Additional Modules”.

Unisa reserves the right to not process and/or cancel your registration if it is found that you were incorrectly admitted to a qualification.
