What does Feenix cover? Scholarship Programme 2021
The What does Feenix cover? are currently looking to fund undergraduates looking for scholarships.
Feenix is a student centred fundraising platform that allows students to fundraise money for their studies. It encourages students to make use of their community and allow them to come together to support the student.
Feenix has rules in place surrounding the fundraising on the platform. Feenix states that the funds raised on the website are only to be used (and raised) for items written as on their university fee statement. For example, your fee statement can include items such as tuition, accomodation, book allowances and possibly meal allowances. This is all dependent on your university.
The funds that you raise are not transferred to students. The funds are paid to your university twice in a year. If you raise more money than you need to cover the fee statement items, the extra funds will be allocated to other students who have not yet reached their fundraising goals. Alternatively it will be put towards the Feenix Pool Fund.
To start raising funds, you will need to create a profile and register. To do this, the steps are:
- Go to the Feenix website.
- Click on ‘MENU’ in the top right corner
- Click on ‘REGISTER
- Follow the prompts
- Upload your fee statement, a certified copy of your ID and a profile picture.
- You will also have to share an inspirational story about yourself which will help motivate people to donate to help you pay your fees
Once you have registered you can start raising your funds!
