Job Summary:
The role will support the Business in the delivery of technical engineering and environmental-related recruitment. With the support and guidance of the HRBP, this role will cover all aspects of recruitment to include liaising with the HR Team, Business Unit Leads recruiting managers, candidates and recruitment suppliers. The role recruits in a skills shortage market therefore the candidate will require a wider understanding of a variety of candidate attraction techniques and sourcing strategies. This role would suit someone who is highly organized, has a diligent work ethic, and is able to work under pressure.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Leading all recruitment activities in an effort to successfully source competent and suitable candidates for active and forecasted roles within the business.
•Follow, manage and monitor all WSP recruitment practices, policies and processes.
•Fully knowledgeable of WSP’s EE Plan and drive achievement of the EE targets by ensuring the placement of EE candidates.
•Utilizing various recruitment tools and platforms to meet recruitment demands, such as internal recruitment systems, external recruitment systems, networking initiatives, agencies, social media tools i.e. LinkedIn Recruiting
•Action internal recruitment approval processes including obtaining approval to utilize external recruitment measures.
•Assist with salary benchmarking.
•Management of full WSP recruitment system.
•Analytical interviewing for candidate pre-screening.
•Regular Line Manager contact including discussing CV and candidate feedback.
•End to end candidate management duties including, pre-screening, shortlisting’s, interview set up, background checks, regretting of unsuccessful candidates and supporting with HR Administration in relation to the placement and onboarding of new employees.
•Working with our recruitment agency Preferred Supplier List (PSL) to manage agency candidates.
•Action resource planning meetings with recruiting managers and implement initiatives in order to assist in the strategic aim of successfully developing a strong talent pipeline while reducing WSP cost to hire and reducing dependency on recruitment partners.
•Work with a high volume of vacancies in a skills shortage market and successfully making placements with a highly responsive time to fill.
•Stay updated with the latest recruitment trends and ensure continual improvement of WSP recruitment and talent attraction strategies.
•Promote the WSP brand and benefits.

Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
•3-5 years of solid experience in in-house & external recruitment
•Experience in HR administration, specifically in relation to recruitment cycle and processes ie, drafting of offer letters, contracts etc.
•Experience in an engineering-related industry would be advantageous
•Recruitment experience in a skills shortage industry advantageous
•Experience with virtual recruitment process, activities and initiatives
•Experience with RMS (Recruitment Management System)
•Strong Microsoft word and excel abilities
•HR or recruitment-related qualification preferred
•Strong recruitment network & profile advantageous
•Candidates from a recruitment agency background may be considered but in house recruitment experience is preferred.

•Relationship management skills; proven experience in building rapport, gaining credibility as part of a team, building trust, working in partnership with cross-functional teams and to proactively deliver upon commitments and expectations.
•Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills; able to influence and engage with people, comfortable with presenting ideas and views, able to constructively challenge, probe and offer an alternative perspective in discussions.
•Team player; the candidate should demonstrate a proven ability to work within real and virtual teams, create a team working environment and participate within a team, including the HR function and with Line Managers across the client group/business stream.
•Analytical; able to analyse, interpret and communicate business, financial and people data to inform discussions and develop solid recruitment plans.
•Results driven; proactive, accountable, responsible for delivery with a strong client/customer service orientation.
•Resilient, self-motivated, multi-tasker and able to remain calm under pressure and when working towards a variety of deadlines.
•Time management and a highly organised approach are essential as well as advanced level IT skills.
